The International Association of Music Libraries, Archives and Documentation Centres (IAML) will hold its annual congress in 2019 from July 14th to 19th in Krakow, Poland. The host institution of the Congress is the Jagiellonian University, the oldest Polish university and one of the oldest universities in Europe, founded in 1364. The Jagiellonian University is located in the historic city of Krakow, a place of special significance for the Polish history and culture.
The Congress expects up to 350 music librarians, archivists, musicologists and many other cultural professionals from more than 30 countries worldwide to attend. The program features presentations, workshops, poster sessions and discussions dealing with digital tools for music libraries, historic sources, as well as customer services in public library music collections, and the many other services music librarians provide in all types of institutions.
This is an opportunity for publishers, book, music, software, technical material and product sellers, database providers, library service providers and others to present their products and services to the larger audience of professionals who have responsibilities for selecting materials for all kinds of music institutions (including national, conservatoire, academic, public, broadcasting institutions and universities) around the world.
The IAML 2019 professional exhibition will take place in the lobby of the Auditorium Maximum of the Jagiellonian University, which will be the main common area of the Congress and will also serve as the coffee break area. This will ensure high visibility for every exhibitor as well as constant flow of visitors to the exhibition area.
We kindly invite you to present your business and thus to support the International Congress IAML Krakow 2019.
